FOR FITNESS - FOR SPORT - FOR FUN

At OVC we offer a variety of options for youth here in the valley. You will find that all of our Youth Programs are designed is to educate and enthuse children and teens about functional fitness. We focus on developing their physical abilities, social skills and self-confidence. The program can prepare kids for sports, enabling them to excel in their current sports, making them fitter and more coordinated, or provide an alternative for kids who are not interested in competitive sports or traditional team sports. It’s also great for developing good motor patterns, balance, and a positive attitude toward challenges.

Our youth workouts will increase physical competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

FOUNDATIONS - (Ages 7-10)

Youth Foundations is for athletes aged 7-10 who are wanting to understand the basics of strength and conditioning, learn to move weight safely, and have fun in the process. We set the foundation for these athletes to build on as they grow and mature. The skills learned in Youth Foundations will be easily applicable to their sports and everyday life.

PERFORM - (Ages 10-15)

This full-time year round program is designed for pre-teens/teens ages 10-15 with a strong emphasis on proper weightlifting technique and the inclusion of high intensity interval training to deliver optimal fitness results. Athletes will be taught how to be both powerful and explosive while working to increase athletic ability and sports performance across a wide range of domains.

HIGH SCHOOL- (Ages 14-18)

This full-time year round program is designed for high school athletes and continues with a strong emphasis on proper weightlifting technique with the inclusion of sports specific training in order to maximize their in-sport potential.

EXCEL - (Personalized/Team Training)

Looking for something more specialized? We offer group/team training for all ages and a variety of sports. During many off-seasons, players and coaches are not allowed to have contact or organized training. This is where we come in. OV CrossFit works with teams of youth athletes in the area to build solid movement patterns while improving strength and conditioning. By training together at OVC, the teams are able to bond through workouts, learn how to exercise safely and correctly, and prepare themselves for their season in a way that wasn’t possible otherwise. As a coach, you are giving your athletes the opportunity to learn from professionals how to train properly. The strength and conditioning benefits that OVC brings to your team will translate to success on the field, court, or ice.

Personal Training

Our group programs for youth athletes cover a broad range of skills, but some athletes may need a more specific approach. Youth personal training is available for athletes that are looking for more specificity in their training
